Hanze Taster Session on 21 May

Are you busy with your graduation project or have you already completed your studies? Do you want a break, play an interactive game, and learn more about the energy transition? Are you interested in getting a Master of Science degree in 1,5 years without premaster?

Join Hanze on Wednesday, 21st of May, from 09:30 till 11:30 at ENTRANCE to discover the Master Energy For Society, European Master in Renewable Energy & European Master in Sustainable Energy System Management.

This taster session will be held at ENTRANCE, Zernikelaan 17 9747 AA Groningen in room E1.21.

Program of taster

Your morning starts with a 15-minute presentation on the three master programmes. Then you will play the We Energy Game, a serious game which is designed to interactively learn about the complexity of the (energy) transition. It is a fun way to become aware of the process of transitions and your possible future career as an energy professional. Finally, you can participate in an excursion of ENTRANCE and the test garden.

Information on the Master

Master Energy for Society is a multidisciplinary Master focused on training you in the skills to be able to guide transitions by combining societal, economic, political, legal, and environmental aspects into solutions for a sustainable future.

In the European Master in Renewable Energy will focus on learning you the skills needed to improve and design new renewable technologies. You will be able to delve into the various technologies, for example, solar energy, wind energy, hydrogen, grid integration, etc.

In the European Master in Sustainable Energy System Management at Hanze, you will learn how to integrate and model technological, economic, policy, social and ecological factors into business plans and projects for the future. You will learn how to analyse complex energy systems and markets, and learn how to create and implement solutions in them.
